WASHINGTON STATE BUILDING CODE CHAPTER 51-52 AMENDMENTS TO 2015 INTERNATIONAL MECHANICAL CODE (IMC)

Effective July 1, 2016

Includes adoption of and amendments to the 2015 International Fuel Gas Code And adoption of the 2015 National Fuel Gas Code (NFPA 54) and the 2014 Liquefied Petroleum Gas Code (NFPA 58).

Printing Format: This version of the rules is published as a series of insert or replacement pages and was
designed to be printed back to back. Each page provides instructions for installing them in the model code book.
Amendments to the model code which are new or revised from the previous edition of this code are indicated by
a line in the margin next to the revised portions.

Effective Date: These rules were adopted by the State Building Code Council on November 13, 2015. The
rules are effective throughout the state on July 1, 2016. (This version of the code is based on WAC 51-52 as
published in WSR 16-01-148. It is subject to review by the State Legislature during the 2016 session.)
