October 1, 2014 - Adopt the 2014 Oregon Electrical Specialty Code These rules adopt the 2014 Oregon Electrical Specialty Code (OESC). The 2014 OESC is based upon the 2014 edition of the NFPA 70, National Electrical Code (NEC), and Oregon amendments.
Oregon amendments to the 2014 NEC are in 918-305-0100 Table 1-E.
Oregon Administrative Rules (OAR), Chapter 918, Division 305 - 2014 Compilation
A supplement to the 2011 NEC, these are the required electrical amendments for commercial, industrial and multi-family dwelling in Oregon.
OESC Amendments Only - Formatted for insertion in the NEC looseleaf. These rules adopt the 2014 Oregon Electrical Specialty Code (OESC). The 2014 OESC is based upon the 2011 edition of the NFPA 70, National Electrical Code (NEC) and Oregon amendments.
These rules also make various housekeeping changes that provide clarity and consistency among the division's rules. These rules and the 2014 OESC becomes effective April 1, 2011.
